Job Description:

Align team to corporate vision and core values. Provide strategic direction and leadership to team in support of assigned Sales team(s) and/or special initiatives. Champion strategy and innovation for functional areas, driving continuous improvement to optimize the client experience and cost of service. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive revenue growth via consultative selling/servicing relationships with clients. Lead implementation of new technology and process enhancements, ensuring adoption and effectiveness.

Key Duties & Responsibilities


  • Workload Management: Manage team in support of assigned sales vertical/region, assuring workload balance to optimize resources and manage costs. Support direct reports in assigning responsibilities based on associate skill sets. Lead the development and execution of management and functional strategies to maximize revenue and profit growth. Seek and build relationships with external suppliers, as needed. Apply knowledge of various business segments to assist in a variety of leadership roles or strategic planning sessions.

  • Evaluate and Reward Performance: Establish clear expectations, assess performance against job requirements and objectives, and provide regular feedback. Demonstrate ability to develop leaders and individual contributors. Understand and implement company policies, and leverage reward tools to recognize high performers. Accountable for timely completion and delivery of Performance Reviews. Facilitate promotions, pay increases, disciplinary actions, terminations, etc. as needed. Provide input to development of and oversight of budget.

  • Process Improvement/Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve complex problems and implement innovative solutions to prevent business crisis or enhance business processes. Identify the need for, and support the design and implementation of, client-focused technology to sell and service our clients. Use management information tools to understand and apply best practices to maximize the success of the function. Advise leadership on strategic business development and key planning issues.

  • Coaching and Development: Build an organizational culture in which passion for continuous improvement is innate. Develop leadership, communication and technical skills among associates, guiding career development using leadership tools and feedback. Proactively work to retain our top talent, and create succession plans. Set and monitor progress against department and associate goals and objectives. Understand and educate on diversity and inclusion.

  • Customer Focus and Working Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional leadership internally and with clients and suppliers, as needed. Leverage these relationships to achieve results. Provide thought leadership in anticipating industry trends and client needs, and developing and aligning the MDT resources needed. Play a lead role in key client situations and internal meetings and events. Effectively influence others to adopt a course of action on critical, complex, or sensitive.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

  • Master's Degree (Preferred)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.


Experience

  • Prior leadership and management experience acquired within or outside of company. (3-5 years of leadership experience)

  • In-depth knowledge & extensive experience with industry related issues. (Preferred)


Communication & Contacts

Interfaces with a variety of internal & external audiences to proactively develop and influence strategies.

Decision Making

Requires broad conceptual judgment and ability to deal with complex factors not easily evaluated. Owns interpreting business strategy and translating it into tactical departmental strategies and plans. Responsible for addressing complex business issues beyond immediate needs or where established policies may not be aligned with business needs/objectives. Manages complex projects across multiple functions that have a significant impact on the company. Directs and assesses the results of others, providing feedback and coaching. Makes decisions that influence efficiencies and impact product Profit & Loss (P & L).

Other

Appoint project leader/s on complex special projects. Provide strategic insight, process and deliverables. Interpret and monitor performance against organizational goals and policies. Support and utilize management systems and tools to identify and evaluate workforce metrics and trends Effectively coordinate leadership of associates across different office locations and time zones, as needed. Attend sales meetings, game plan and strategy meetings, as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.Salary: $100,000-$125,000. The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
