Role Summary

The Distribution Intelligence team is seeking a motivated, strategic thinker, with a detail oriented  mentality to join our team as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. This is a developer role that will help drive value realization from externally purchased data. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is able to develop intuitive data visualizations, uncover insights from data, and communicate technical information to non-technical users. At the Senior level we are looking for an individual who is capable of handling complex data, applying advanced analytics, and delivering results that requires minimal ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities:


  • Support US distribution sales to accelerate the delivery of business-critical insights from question to project to insight.

  • Work independently and in partnership with business experts.

  • Lead the investigation and development of externally sourced data.

  • Organize and inventory data elements provided from various external sources.

  • Prepare data visualizations and deliver information to multiple audiences from management to sales teams.

  • Integrate data and business knowledge to continuously provide insights that support the decision-making process for leaders.

  • Apply advanced analytical techniques.

  • Effectively communicate technical outputs to non-technical audiences.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the user experience by increasing automation and reducing required manual effort.

  • Drafts project plans, use cases, user stories, and implementation reports.

  • Upskill other team members and find opportunities to streamline existing data processes.

Qualifications:

Required:


  • 4+ years of experience applying analytical processes to complex datasets and developing accompanying visualizations.

  • 2+ years communicating with clients to turn business questions into projects and deliver the results to clients.

Preferred:


  • Experience in Data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)

  • Experience in SQL

  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis (python, R, Alteryx)

  • Effective presentation skills with exposure to both technical and executive audiences

  • Strong work ethic in terms of time management, project ownership, and accountability.

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

  • Financial services industry experience preferred

  • BS/BA in STEM field preferred

FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
