Meet the team:

Our Global Operations finance team owns the budgeting, forecasting and day to day support of Dexcom's Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Engineering organizations. Our growing team supplies analytics to executive leadership to held drive decision making and directly impact the global footprint and strategy of our manufacturing business.

We are looking for driven and self-motivated team members to join and help us continue to expand and grow our analytical expertise for our US Manufacturing organization!



Where you come in:

• Curiosity and drive to always continue learning within the cost accounting realm and execute on process improvements
• Owns Inventory/Cost Accounting and SOX Controls including month-end close Journal Entries, Account Reconciliations, Costing and Cost roll activities
• Supports monthly KPI report outs to executive level leaders including highlighting focus areas for their business partners and opportunities for improvement
• Drives process improvements and cross functional projects within the company
• Helps provide actionable intelligence to leaders for improvements and project recommendations
• Supports cost accounting activities including scrap reconciliations, cycle count, Standard Costing process, manufacturing variances
• Ability to learn how to work within Hyperion/SmartView, Apex Reporting, Tableau, Oracle FCCS (forms, inputs, queries), Oracle EBS
• Owns the invoicing process throughout the month as well as month-end accruals to ensure accurate financial results
• Flexibility to take on additional business support responsibilities and adhoc analytical requests as needed - - including Make or Buy Analysis, Actual Standard Cost results and scenario based analytics

• Ability to prepare, develop and maintain long-range staffing and financial funding models in collaboration with the management team.


• Ability to prepare financial related analysis and perform research in areas such as financial and cost savings performance measures for use in operational leadership reviews and presentations.


• You are driven and continuously curious to learn and grow your financial acumen
• You are a clear and concise communicator able to work with senior levels of leadership
• Your understanding of Financial and Accounting concepts, including Cost Accounting basics (Capitalization and Amortization schedules, P&L, Balance Sheet, accruals, prepayments, etc.) with Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Your ability to partner with cross functional team members to drive deliverables
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering consistent, accurate and reliable work
• You are looking for an opportunity to continuously grow and learn while improving processes and driving change
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications especially in Excel and Power Points (pivot tables, vlookup, filters)
• Working knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle
• Industry experience in medical device
• Enjoys both working with people and computer systems and manipulation of detailed data

Exempt Salary Details:



• The annual base salary range for this role is $71,600 to $119,300. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.




Experience and Education






  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
