Job Description:





This team member is responsible for assisting customers with their printing needs. This includes answering inquiries about print products and services, providing quotes, processing orders, and resolving customer concerns. They have a strong understanding of printing terminology and equipment, as well as excellent communication skills to work with customers and the printing team. They are able to work collaboratively with other team members, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize their workload to meet customer needs. They are detail-oriented, organized, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.


 

 




 


 

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 



  • 36 months experience in an administrative role


Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months customer service or printing experience in lieu of the BS Degree for a total of 72 months related experience.


Skills:



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are key

  • Ability to work as a team member

  • Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner

  • Ability to multitask, be organized, and self-motivated

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

  • Basic math skills

  • Working knowledge of office procedures

  • Working knowledge of accounting processes

  • Ability to use a computer and calculator

  • None

  • Sit for prolonged periods.

Departmental Preferences:



  • The position plans and coordinates special projects for offset and digital printing, copying, posters, banners, engraving, dye sublimation, course packs, novelties as requested by the University community.

  • Customer communication and customer service skills are key. Marketing for printing and mailing as assigned. 

  • Knowledge of HSC campus is a plus.
