Electricians will perform electrical maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs, including mechanical, as it applies to electrical problems. They will perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of various test equipment
Requirements
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to understand information contained in Electrical manuals and blueprints.
Technical Degree or at least 1 year experience in a working on simple and complex electrical systems.
Must be able to work various shifts, including some weekends, holidays, and on call shifts.
Must have access to motor vehicle and a valid driver's license (needed for responding to emergencies at the Hatchery).
Must be able to collaborate with all levels in all depts.
