Summary
This position is responsible for performing all repairs and maintenance to all earth moving and construction equipment in a safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for own personal safety at all times; as well as maintain the highest standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job.
Be able to ingress and egress truck by navigating 2 steps with grab bars present
Willing to travel to equipment and perform job outside of the shop at job sites or in quarries
Repair and maintain all equipment
Operate and maintain service truck
Communicate with shop foreman or site foreman for scheduling and status of repairs
Communicate with vendors and purchasing agent for parts ordering
Responsible for evaluating work request write ups on equipment for compliance of safety criteria and placing equipment out of service
Report unusual repairs that require OEM service to supervisor
Supply and maintain own tools required to perform job
Education/Experience
High school Diploma or equivalent.
5 Years of previous experience preferred.
