Job Summary
Reporting to the Security Manager - GRC, this role will serve to establish a secure, and controlled server, storage, network, systems, and application environment at Oldcastle Infrastructure and have overall responsibility responding to the compliance and risk needs on Oldcastle's cloud and on-premise platforms, infrastructure, networking, information/data security, privacy, IT operations and the internal Service Desk. The successful candidate will advise and inform the overall IT Governance, Risk and Compliance strategy while delivering large-scale, high-throughput systems and achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Act as the secondary and backup point of contact for internal and external audit, and other GRC assessments
Perform IT audit and compliance tasks including gathering information, requesting and examining controls evidence
Coach and advise IT teams and business stakeholders on GRC requirement and effective controls implementation and maintenance
Working with the IT service teams and business stakeholders to remediate and answer questions regarding GRC concerns.
Work to ensure compliance with Privacy regulations in the Americas to include conducting privacy impact assessments, responding to subject access requests and training staff
Maintain the company IT risk register
Make recommendations to improve GRC practices
Manage and Implement GRC related projects
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Education/Experience
Associate degree in business management, IT, Audit or related fields. B.A a plus.
At least 1 year in IT or GRC roles.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Familiarities with business and financial controls environments a plus
At least 2 year experience in Customer Service
English: Fluent
Work and Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Ability to safely lift to 50 pounds.
Preferred office location for this position is Atlanta, GA.
Ability to travel (overnight) as required based on business needs up to 10%.
Ability to drive up to 4 hours for onsite services and meetings.
Must pass background check, alcohol and drug testing.
The position may require work outside of normal business hours in response to critical incidents or business-impacting project deliverables.
Work Environment
Normal office working conditions in addition to industrial plant sites and quarries, requiring the usage of personal protective equipment, e.g. hard hat, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.
