WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
The Policy Strategy & Learning Team works to increase The Nature Conservancy's effectiveness in leveraging policy to achieve durable, transformational results for people and nature at scale. The team generates content and supports development of tools and resources to build policy knowledge and capacity and strengthen policy influence effectiveness in support of The Nature Conservancy's (TNC) 2030 Goals. You will work with the Policy Strategy & Learning Team, Policy & Government Relations staff and other staff across the organization.Responsibilities & Scope: Draft and finalize an internal communications and marketing plan for the PSL team. Coordinate and conduct audience analysis, including interviews with TNC staff to understand needs. Write communications and marketing content. Duties are performed under general supervision and established guidelines. Opportunity to act independently on assigned tasks and projects. Works with others across TNC to execute projects/deliverables.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU
To finalize an internal communications and marketing plan for the PSL team. Your tasks will include analyzing key audiences, proposing key messages, identifying strategic marketing and communications engagements, writing marketing and communications content, and designing and developing a PSL brand identity and graphics and materials to support it. This is a 10 to 20-hour-per-week position, starting in June and finishing in August of 2023.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
1+ year demonstrated experience working in professional environment (remote or onsite). Experience with basic graphic design principles and tools. Experience organizing and coordinating projects. Experience writing, proofreading and editing business, promotional and/or informational material. Experience presenting to and communicating with different audiences. Fluency in English.
