PURPOSE STATEMENT
The Porter is primarily responsible for assisting the Event Assistant/Steward and dishwashers with the cleaning and maintenance of the catering storage rooms, inventory, and procuring the necessary supplies and equipment for events.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Ensuring all silverware, glassware, and china is shined and polished
Ensuring the catering storage rooms are kept organized and all supplies and equipment are returned to the correct assigned storage areas after every event
Wash and store dishes and storage room equipment in their proper place
Assists with table and chair set-up for events when needed
During the week, assist withpulling supplies and equipment using event checklists
Load supplies and equipment onto the catering trucks
Drive supplies and equipment in the catering truck to the appropriate venue(s) when needed
Part-time, $15 per hour
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Able to work varied hours during the week including evenings
Must be flexible with schedule and time changes
Must possess valid driver's license
High School Diploma or GED required
