Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Client Guidelines Coordinator. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, the Client Guidelines Coordinator will be responsible for directing the firm's outside counsel guidelines review process.This position may be resident in the Pittsburgh or Philadelphia offices with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.Key responsibilities of this position include:Monitor the Outside Counsel Guidelines mailbox to review client guidelines and related client agreements. Review the contract database to determine whether the guidelines are new or an updated version of existing guidelines and prepare a comparison document if needed.Provide a comprehensive review of the document, flag key terms, and distribute to various internal departments for review and comment. Compile edits and comments into one document to the submitting attorney and document any internal approvals.Prepare summaries highlighting key provisions and identify terms requiring further review.Act as a liaison between the Assistant General Counsel, Director of Client Guidelines, and internal departments.Assist with drafting side letters to incorporate exceptions to client guidelines, track the status of edits and follow up internally as needed.Proactively monitor the outside counsel guidelines process to identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with the review of client due-diligence surveys and questionnaires. Liaison with various internal departments to respond to such requests.Assist with the review of Requests for Proposals and serve as a liaison between the Marketing Department and Assistant General Counsel.Assist with implementation of Intapp Terms, or comparable contract repository to house client documentation. Onboard new and existing outside counsel guidelines into the contract repository database.Assist with responding to any outside counsel guidelines related questions.Experience and qualifications needed to perform this job successfully:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and minimum 3-5 years of legal experience (experience at a global law firm and/or experience reviewing client terms of engagement is preferred). An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.Experience using Intapp Terms (or comparable contract repository database) preferred but not required.
