We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior SQL/Airflow Developer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining ETL pipelines and scripts on AWS infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data processes using SQL, Airflow, DBT and other related technologies on AWS infrastructureDebug and optimize existing ETL processes in Airflow, AWS Lambda and Glue to improve performance, reliability, and data qualityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement robust data solutionsEnsure data integrity and consistency by developing and implementing data validation and error-handling strategiesMaintain and enhance our AWS infrastructure to support the efficient execution of ETL processesStay current with industry best practices, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the teamMentor and provide guidance to junior developers in the teamBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldA minimum of 8 years of experience in SQL development and AWS Redshift.Expertise in Apache Airflow, including the creation of custom operators and plugins and DBT.Strong experience in working with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and RedshiftIn-depth understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning, primarily with Postgres and Redshift.Knowledge of Python and its libraries for data manipulation and processingExperience with version control systems, such as GitExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teamsNice to Have:Snowflake and Snowpipe experiencedata modeling experienceMoody's Analytics products are becoming an essential tool in the rapidly expanding Commercial Real Estate market. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
