This role is part of the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) technical product team. Moody's is seeking a Senior OpenPages Solution Architect/Tech Lead who is responsible for developing and executing on deploying OpenPages software and associated applications. This position will be responsible for designing, configuring, and developing solutions for Enterprise and Operational Risk and Internal Audit capabilities using IBM OpenPages suite. This individual will serve as a lead architect/technical developer interacting with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design GRC solutions, data models, and build components and integrations in IBM OpenPages application suite. A successful candidate must be both a leader who can work with vendor resources, stakeholders, and work with agile teams. On any day, the candidate could be doing any or all of the following: Play a role of solution architect enabling GRC capabilities in IBM OpenPages suite of products. Design, Develop, configure software, and implement solutions in Integrated Risk Management (IRM) functions implemented on IBM OpenPages. Strong working knowledge of GRC processes and solutions in IBM OpenPages IRM (e.g., Operational Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Issues Management, Risk Assessments, etc.) Provide breadth and depth of knowledge in areas involving IBM OpenPages and engineering experience in Integrated Risk Management or Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions and programs Must understand and be able to influence and communicate with senior business partners including Risk Officers etc. Collaborate with product owners and QA analysts to build solutions as per requirements and enable testing of new features. Manage and keep up with the upgrades and changes to the OpenPages platform including identification of gaps and/or inconsistencies with latest version Learn, adapt, and propose new technologies to address our functional and scaling challenges Support the company standards for software development (SDLC), compliance, and SOX controls by producing the required artifacts and adhering to process and access controls Champion and drive engineering processes and best practices 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing solutions on IBM OpenPages platform version 8.2.0.3 or later, with knowledge of the financial service industry, regulatory requirements Experience in all components of IBM OpenPages, including but not limited to views, custom objects, workflow, triggers, helpers, custom actions, field dependencies, security/entitlement, deployment, etc. Ability to design and develop maintainable REST APIs from other third-party systems to IBM OpenPages Solid understanding of IBM OpenPages data model and write custom queries to analyze data 5+ years of experience in developing application using Java or other Object-Oriented Languages Highly organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills and comfortable with Agile deliverability methodology Ability to remain flexible and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to challenge responses from first and second lines of defense stakeholder Ability to summarize and report on complex data in a concise manner and ability to identify trends and ensure consistency Strong technical skills required to create and maintain analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong sense of ownership regarding work product Technology Services Group - EBS OperationsMoody's is an equal opportunity employer. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
