Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28203Duties: Work with Senior Software Engineers to assist in designing, coding, enhancing, and testing of software applications to meet business process requirements. Contribute to ongoing feature development of web applications based on service-oriented architecture, involving UI, Services, and databases. Work with development team leads (Lead Software Engineers) on technical and architectural direction of projects. Research, analyze, design, and deliver solutions that are appropriate for business and application development strategies. Work with cross functional, globally dispersed development teams to support development efforts to meet business requirements. Assist in designing and developing new projects and enhancements based on evolving business needs. Interact with internal users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software.Requirements: Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus two (2) years of experience performing software development and designing technical solutions. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in an acceptable field as stated above plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Must have experience with the following: architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to support enhancements and bug fixes in existing and new applications; applying knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading concepts, Angular, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, Docker, KAFKA, JMS, RESTful Web Service, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for applications development; working with PL/SQL, Postgres, Python, Informatica, AWS EC2, AWS QuickSight, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, Tableau, Unix, Shell, Alteryx, GitHub, GitActions, BitBucket, Oracle, Confluence, JBoss, Websphere, and Jenkins; working with open source code and frameworks; and using build tools, including Maven and GIT.To apply please submit resume through, via e-mail at, or by mail to: Moody's Investors Service, Inc., Attn: HR Box 28, 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007.
