Team/Program Introduction:
9th Way Insignia is looking for Telecommunications Engineering Specialists to assist in providing Base-Level Information Technology Services in direct support of the mission of the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) at Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB), Massachusetts. The objective of this program is to secure, support, and sustain information and information systems, as well as support mission success through effective and efficient service delivery. Technical services provided by this effort are wide ranging to include:
Network Management
Cybersecurity
Web and Enterprise Information System (EIS) Support
Service Desk
IT Asset Management
Vulnerability Management and AF Enterprise Systems Support
Warehouse Management
The 9th Way Insignia team will work with Air Force managers, employees, and stakeholders to provide a high level of services throughout the 66 ABG Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, control, configure, and optimize voice systems. This includes the activities, methods, processes, procedures, capabilities, tools, and resources that pertain to the operation, administration, maintenance, and provisioning of voice systems.
Maintain a list of phones in service to include associated information (i.e., users, associated phone numbers, circuit IDs, and location details (building, floor, room).
Provide Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony services and is responsible for upgrading firmware and programming phones as needed.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade the Soft Client within the current and future VOIP infrastructure.
Manage and administer the voice mail system.
Provide ACD Services to multiple customers, to include the Service Desk.
Manage the Sonexis platform and support all stakeholders. (All approved stakeholders are subscribers on the Sonexis Conference Manager platform and are able to join audio conference on demand. The Sonexis platform is a Microsoft Windows server based conference manager software system that facilitates audio conferencing over the IP network during contingencies).
Manage/maintain the data and systems that provide the E-911 capability. (E911 calls are managed by the State of Massachusetts system Call Works, calls are routed to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) on Hanscom AFB Fire Department. The contractor creates telephone numbers stored on the AS5300; Red Sky system dynamically keeps location information of each telephone location updated. Provide the local telephone service (LTS) provider Direct Inward Dialing (DID) updates, currently the LTS update the Massachusetts database).
Requirements:
Technical expertise is critical for the overall execution and success of the program. Candidates for this position must possess experience that meets or exceeds the following minimum requirements:
Junior: Associates degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience
Journeyman: Associates degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience
Senior: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 7+ years of experience
IAT Level II (CompTIA Security + CE)
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $94,990 - $143,500.

This position requires a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements.
