Team/Program Introduction:
9th Way Insignia is looking for Computer Support Specialists to assist in providing Base-Level Information Technology Services in direct support of the mission of the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) at Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB), Massachusetts. The objective of this program is to secure, support, and sustain information and information systems, as well as support mission success through effective and efficient service delivery. Technical services provided by this effort are wide ranging to include:
Network Management
Cybersecurity
Web and Enterprise Information System (EIS) Support
Unified Communications (UC)/Voice
Compute and Store
Cable Plant Management
Service Desk
IT Asset Management
Vulnerability Management and AF Enterprise Systems Support
Warehouse Management
The 9th Way Insignia team will work with Air Force managers, employees, and stakeholders to provide a high level of services throughout the 66 ABG Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Provide local Service Desk services to support Hanscom AFB customers. Utilize automated call distribution capability to accept incoming calls during core service hours as well as monitor a Service Desk common mailbox.
Assign/reassign Service Incidents and Service Requests from the Enterprise Service Desk and Virtual Enterprise Service Desk (vESD)Administration,
Provide End Device Management including the installation and deployment, monitoring, configuration, maintenance, and security of end devices on the AFIN. End devices are items such as desktop PCs, laptops, notebooks, tablet PCs, smartphones, executive mobile devices, printers, multifunction devices, and VoIP phones.
Provide local registration authority (LRA) services to Hanscom AFB and OPR approved regional requests.
Provide SIPRNet account management responsible for creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, groups, computer accounts, organizational units (OUs), and other objects in the directory service database. Assist end users with issues related to their accounts or computers, such as resetting passwords or troubleshooting technical problems.
Operate an appointment center and equipment loaner program during Service Desk hours for hands on IT support when an issue cannot be resolved remotely.
Provide onsite office visits for problem resolution e.g., handicap, age, special assistance is required, and/or when work requirements dictate.
Provide Common Access Card (CAC) Personal Identification Number (PIN) Reset system (CPR) support by appointing at least three Trusted Agent Security Managers (TASM) to reset CAC Personal Identification Number (PINs), as well as maintain the onsite equipment to accomplish these duties.
Provide distribution and installation of IT assets received through the Acquisition/Receiving process.
Requirements:
Technical expertise is critical for the overall execution and success of the program. Candidates for this position must possess experience that meets or exceeds the following minimum requirements:
Junior: High school diploma and 1+ years of hands-on experience
Journeyman: High school diploma and 3+ years of hands-on experience
Senior: High school diploma and 5+ years of hands-on experience
IAT Level II (CompTIA Security + CE)
Salary Range:
$43,000-$82,641

Clearance, Background Investigation:
This position requires a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements.
