The Sr Analyst II, Business Planning will support the financial planning, tracking, analysis and all aspects of financial discipline of the Patient Services organization external expenses. In this capacity, this individual will work closely internally with Patient Services (PS) Vendor Management, PS Pharmacy Operations, PS Compliance, PS Leadership, USO Commercial Business Planning, Business Stakeholders, and Internal Audit personnel; and externally with Vendor, Pharmacy Program and Finance Managers to drive compliance, controllership, and financial excellence. This role will support the management of PS financials and will assist in the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and analysis regarding PS financial results. Further, this role will assist in the planning and executing of a yearly annual operating plan (OPEX, GTN, COGS), and maintaining processes to track and confirm the value delivered by PS. What You'll Do:
* External Expense Management
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of PS external expense financial records, including data that support Tableau dashboards
* Ensure any relevant accounting issues are identified, discussed, resolved, and documented appropriately
* Assist/Support in producing the PS financial results reporting on monthly/quarterly/annual basis and facilitate meetings to review those reports and facilitate any required follow-up actions
* Support the Coordination, Preparation, Compilation and Communication of the PS Annual Operating Plan
* Support completion of PS month-end close procedures including PS accruals and reconciliations to ensure differences are resolved in timely manner
* Support and drive continuous improvement for overall PS business process and process documentation to ensure efficiency and maximize benefit realization, including:
o Requisitioning
o Purchase Order Management
o Invoice Validation
o Support of Contract Management, incl. contract renewals
* Monitor PS adherence to Biogen's policies (i.e., global procurement policies, finance, contract
signing authority and legal policies)
* Maintain good documentation and records to support audit requestsWho You Are:

* Strong combination of financial, analytical and strategic skills
* Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Experience with Tableau
* Excellent problem solving, time management and organizational skills
* Action oriented; Ability to adapt to change and implement quickly based on overall direction and needs of the company
* Distinctive quantitative, critical thinking and modeling skills
* Strong oral and written communications (including slide decks) and the ability to build productive working relationships with various levels, functions and teams
* Experience with purchasing and PO management utilizing Oracle iProcurement
* Experience with Supplier Management and Accounts Payable
* 3-7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and/or finance/strategic consulting
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experiencePreferred Skills:
