Job DescriptionAbout This RoleBiogen is searching for a collaborative, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Access and Reimbursement to build out a team for a potential launch supporting Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) & Post-Partum Depression (PPD) market. This leadership role is responsible for providing strategic direction to access and reimbursement managers (ARMs), educating health care providers on payer and formulary policies, distribution models, and patient affordability programs. This is an exciting opportunity to build a best-in-class launch team that specializes in Psychiatry, Primary Care, and OBGYN.What You'll DoRecruit, hire and develop a best-in-class launch team of Access and Reimbursement ManagersExecute on key access and reimbursement strategic priorities to achieve goals while upholding organizational values and standards.Identify and prioritize key accounts, execute educational and access initiatives, and leverage integrated distribution model expertise with internal and external stakeholders.Build strong partnerships with Patient Services, Regional Sales Directors, Regional and National Accounts Directors, Marketing and Payer Channel Marketing, and ComplianceContinuously coach, develop and cultivate talent to achieve individual, team and cross-functional goals so the team can fulfill current or future job/role responsibilities most effectively.Build a culture of compliance to ensure that all activities are fully compliant with Company policies and procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.Who You AreYou are a strategic thinker and authority in access and reimbursement who can execute flawlessly. You have robust expertise in commercial and federal payer policies, prior authorization policies and procedures, and diverse distribution models. You are collaborative, proactive, and a curious person always looking to learn and improve the way we work. You put the needs of patients and those who care for them above all else and have a passion for serving them.QualificationsBS/BA required; MBA preferred8+ years access and reimbursement management experience or relevant leadership experienceProven launch experience leading others in highly complicated and competitive environments.Psychiatry, mental health, or CNS-related access and reimbursement experience and/or knowledge of the MDD/PPD markets preferred.Proven successful track record of consistent high performance.Exceptional business and clinical acumen with a thorough understanding of the MDD and PPD markets and competition.Requires robust analytical capabilities to assess key metrics for tracking performance both at a national and regional level to enhance process and performance.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team towards meeting and exceeding objectives.Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Strong strategic planning, analytical, and business acumen skillsCross-functional experience in other commercial areas preferred.Travel required.Driving is an essential duty of the job; candidates must have a valid driver's license to be considered.At launch, candidate will be responsible for national coverage and should reside near a major, US airport.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The base compensation range for this role is $188,600 to $282,900. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen's LTI grants and other incentive programs.
