Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work closely with Lead, Operator and department team
Follow work instruction to minimize poor breakout, improve edge quality, and ensure safe glass handling
Breakout glass based on the job specification
Sort and inspect glass based on the job specification
Separate and organizes glass on harp racks/A-frames
Load glass on proper harp racks/A-frames to be transported to other departments
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Organize work load to maximize productivity
Inspect and maintain proper stacking of glass
Perform any other job assigned as needed
Use proper PPE
Requirements
Must at least be 18 years old
Able to work in a team environment
Detail-oriented
Manual lifting requirements 75 lbs on a regular basis
At least one year of previous work experience in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
Able to grip and carry thin material, such as glass
Able to walk/stand on a concrete floor for regular work shift (approx. 8-12 hrs a day, 5-6 days/week)
Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. frequently
Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with the same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity, etc.)
