This position is responsible for: Greet patients in accordance with Nemours Standards of Behavior. Perform registration and check-in and check-out functions for clinic(s). Verify and update demographic, insurance, PCP and authorization/referrals information when required at each encounter.
Documentation: Ensure all annual mandatory forms are complete, accurate, updated and on file in accordance with NCC policies.
Financial: Collect all copay, coinsurance and self pay amount due for services rendered. Adhere to end of day business processing standard by verifing that cash analysis and receipts balance.
Scheduling: Schedule follow-up appointment as instructed via the appointment disposition.
Workqueues: Process encounters via the registration and check-out workqueue daily.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma required. Specialized (1 year of training beyond high school).
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience required.
