Contingent Labor Coordinator at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan

Job Description:

Responsible for performing activities in an essential procurement function: contingent labor and resource management. Perform basic cost analysis and buying activities in accordance with established practices and policies. 


  • Coordinate the on-boarding and off boarding of contingent workers with suppliers and resource manager

  • a. sPro Processing: source new requisitions, process new and renewal work orders; requisition approvals; badge creation.  Single source & multi-source transactions (SOW/Roster).

  • b. sPro Resume Distribution: former employee verification,  vetting of former employees and contractors for eligibility; reviewing  former contractor information for eligibility.

  • Termination Processing: Schedule and manage routine off-boarding (early assignment ends); and non-routine off-boarding (organizing location, supplier and processing the system access terminations including work order terminations and badges) retrieval of corporate assets, communication.

  • a. Training resolutions: Supplier and Requester training and assistance; job aid creation, one-on-one training, group training.

  • b. Supplier/Requestor system issue resolution (assess issues/timesheets/requisition submissions/approvals.

  • Create monthly supplier scorecards/RTD2 database updates and processing.  Annual role rate review and bill rate negotiations.  Ongoing system cleanup/metrics data queries.  Review invoicing and timesheet issues.

  • Perform system upgrades testing for module upgrades to ensure system performance.

  • Perform contractor conversions to ensure system access is retained; communication with suppliers regarding conversion dates; and work order terminations.

  • Other duties as assigned.


"Qualifications"


  • High School Diploma required.  Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources or related field preferred.

  • One (1) year procurement experience preferred.

  • Metric analysis knowledge and contract interpretation knowledge preferred

  • CCWP  certification preferred.

  • Microsoft Office – Intermediate

  • Written Communications- Intermediate

  • Oral Communications – Intermediate

  • Organization Skills – Intermediate

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Intermediate

  • Problem Solving – Beginner
