We are a Machining Manufacturer of engine and drive train components for the automotive Industry. We have a diverse portfolio of Customers in the USA and Europe. We are looking for a qualified Process Engineer that will process Design and Development from the RFQ stage and until a successful hand-over to Manufacturing Engineering is done. Hand-over is based on achieving budgeted targets for cycle-times, tooling costs, part quality, and number of operators as defined in the process design stage.
What You Will Be Doing KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-Process design involves selecting the appropriate machining technology, defining the process steps, and specifying the right tools, fixtures, and process parameters that meet the customer requirements at the minimum cost.
-Specifies the standard work for the operator (time and motion), the gauging plan, and the final packing design.
-Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
-Similar steps are also required when assembly is part of the process.
-Strongly involved in the decision-making for equipment purchase/redeployment, as well as the acceptance of new fixtures, assembly equipment and CNC machines.
What You Need for this Position EXPERIENCE:
-Experience with relevant software (CAD, Solid Model, Excel, SAP).
-Strong background in GD&T, CNCs, automation, and robotics.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial plant setting

SKILLS:
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent analytical and math skills.
-Strong knowledge of machining and assembly, theory, and practice.
-Working knowledge of iron/aluminum castings, steel forgings and diesel-engine value-train components.
-Ability to stay focused and organized while interacting with entities (customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders).
-Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations.
