Job Summary

Support HR department in all aspects of people and process.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in conducting new hire orientation with newly hired hourly employees

• Manage employee files and records

• Plan and execute employee appreciation events

• Develop new processes to streamline current tasks within onboarding and file retention

• Work with recruiter to conduct interviews and make job offers

• Assisting employees with basic questions, problems, concerns.

• Interact formally and informally with all levels or personnel, including senior management

• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Perform work under general supervision

• Handle moderately complex problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff

• Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter

• Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent; actively pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree or recent graduate in related field
