Primary Function of Position:

As Project Coordinator for Professional Education and Program services, you will be part of a program management team and assist project managers in ensuring the details of a given project task are well organized. The ideal person will be interested in a career in project or program management in the medical device field

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will mainly be responsible for updating, maintaining, and creating project materials. They will work closely with the project managers enabling proper goal setting and project maintenance.


  • Update, maintain, and create project materials including project playbooks, project charter documents, and project milestone tracking.

  • Communicate with various people (both in person and via Zoom) in the organization to get updates to goal progress.

  • Enter and maintain goal reporting and Smartsheet tools or similar.

  • Maintain project task registers by working with the project managers on schedule update

  • Send email inquiries about project task updates

Qualifications
University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:

  • University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.

  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.


Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Current enrollment in a Business, Communications, or related degree-seeking program at the Bachelor's level

  • Highly organized and ability to focus and prioritize critical tasks

  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal required

  • Proficient is Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint required

  • Proficient in Smartsheet strongly preferred

  • Understanding of Agile project methodology preferred

  • Familiarity with the PMBOK (project management body of knowledge) preferred.


We provide market-competitive compensation packages for our internships and co-op roles, with a focus on fair pay and amazing work experiences. The pay rate for this position is $29 to $44 per hour. It may not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including relevant skills and experience for this particular internship, degree-seeking academic program (PhD, Master's, Bachelor's, etc), year in school, and location.
