The Sr. Financial Analyst partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. They gather financial data and perform financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence choices within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). They drive the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring support and alignment with business- and corporate-wide goals. Additionally they communicate and drive adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Finally, the have the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally, and ensure strong business controls.

Responsibilities:


  • Provides support for monthly flash, quarter end close, & LTP.

  • Responsible for providing the most complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a unique understanding of the business to find the best method for achieving goals.

  • Consults with business managers to guide and influence long- term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.

  • Responsible for forecasting financial results within the broadest scope.

  • Manages, oversees and advises on the most complex business initiatives, typically leading several analysts across multiple areas within finance and across geographies/organizations.

  • Drives process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.

  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.

  • Provides mentoring and guidance to coworkers/team mates.

Education and Experience Required:


  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.

  • Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.

  • Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

  • Candidates responsibilities include being able to research, investigate, and progress team's goals

  • Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

  • Ability to communicate well, present ideas and thoughts clearly in support of findings and influence choices.

  • Ability to work together as a team- build and develop relationships, and assist team mates.

  • Excellent business acumen.

  • Excellent project management skills.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S. -based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $95,100.00 - $218,700.00
