Develop knowledge about our biotech business through exposure to our sales and marketing departments. Focus is on developing a target customer database for marketing and sales activities. LI-COR's internship program is intended to provide students from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining work experience.

Education

Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in business or marketing field preferred.

• Assist Marketing & Sales teams with projects aimed at improving the customer experience and impacting revenue.


• Research and brainstorm new ways to reach prospective customers through marketing and sales campaigns and technologies.


• Conduct on-line searches for assigned target market institutions and/or customer contact information with a focus on those researchers that are conducting novel cancer surgical and treatment research.


• Review and make improvements to customer database including duplications and inconsistencies.

• Maintain and develop adequate technical profiency to perform job function.


• Ability to navigate various academic, government and biotech / pharma websites.
