National Account Manager – Public Safety Software
Executive Information Services - Remote

Executive Information Services, Inc. is looking for a full-time National Account Manager to support our sales and new business development efforts in the Public Safety marketplace. If you are a driven, self-motivated sales professional looking for a new opportunity, this position may be for you!

Our customers are public safety agencies, including: Police Departments, Sheriff's offices, State level law enforcement and investigatory entities, detention and correctional entities and select private security units. All Sales team members are responsible for representing EIS as a competent public safety systems supplier to current and future customers, are responsible for executing company defined marketing & sales plans and conducting activities that produce sales and revenue according to quota and goal plan.  Associates are responsible for territory management and consistent development of the prospect pipeline.

Sales team members operate within a defined geographic territory, defined by the Vice President of Sales.  Territorial assignment may be revised by the company at any time.

What will be your impact:


  • Responsible for Customer Account Sales (you will receive full commission pursuant to the current commission scale)

  • Function in a direct sales and marketing role with specific focus on development of new customer accounts and be responsible for development and execution of their territory marketing plan with direction from the Vice President of Sales.

  • Lead generation and account pre-qualification. 

  • Coordinating meetings and sales presentations.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales quotas.

  • Provide current sales forecasts, including: volume, anticipated close and relative probabilities within sales territory.

  • Assisting in the general duties of account management, including preparation of pricing proposals, administrative review and contract negotiations.

  • Analyzing the needs of prospective clients and developing individual sales strategies to further promote the company’s products and service to the prospect.

  • Attending public safety exhibits and shows and representing EIS at various users and trade groups.

  • Sales Representative are required to maintain a minimum 20 call/touch per day average for each workweek.

What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of 1 years software sales experience in related industry

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota and developing and managing a consistent sales pipeline.

  • Understanding of industry sales cycles preferred

  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the work week on average in respective regional territories; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

  • Must be able to pass a State/Federal background check.

  • Comfortable presenting software in front of executives, supervisors and end users.

  • Superior oral, written and presentation skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially effective listening and customer orientation mastery.

  • Adaptable and responsive to innovation and change, identifying areas for improvement, to support business success.

  • Demonstrates personal accountability, excellence and integrity.

  • Results driven professional with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Organized, detail and task oriented; excellent follow-up skills

  • Creative problem solver, able to quickly resolve issues and negotiate any challenges that occur with customers

  • Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Other duties as assigned

Travel:

Up to 50%




Salary: $80,000.00
