Job Summary

The Principal Analyst (Analyst V) will support the Customer Success Sales team within Retail Marketing.  The Principal Analyst will work across all Vistra retail brands by driving initiatives to retain customers and deliver Formula Won customer experiences.  The Principal Analyst has responsibility for driving activities to exceed key performance metrics such as customer saves, win backs, margin management, customer experience scores and cost per sale. The Principal Analyst will need to feel comfortable analyzing data, as well as potentially creating reports from raw data. In addition to metric management, the Principal Analyst will analyze and develop improvements to business processes, identify and facilitate the creation of appropriate reports and work with our call center teams to ensure adherence to best practices.

Overview

In addition to metric management, the Principal Analyst will analyze and develop improvements to business processes, identify and facilitate the creation of appropriate reports and work with our call center teams to ensure adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities


  • Generate and maintain recurring sales and quality reports needed to improve sales performance.

  • Produce ad-hoc reports as needed to identify potential threats along with opportunities.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and strategies that will exceed key performance metrics.

  • Identify trends that threaten customer retention, the customer experience, or unit margins.

  • Work closely with internal marketing department to create a culture of constant improvement to the customer buying experience.

  • Work cross functionally with internal work-force management and vendor partners to optimize call routing, vendor footprint, and campaign placement.

  • Work with P&A team to ensure product hierarchy and pricing are optimized.

  • Partner with internal Learning & Development team to create and deploy training for frontline retention agents.

Requirements


  • Retail sales experience with a proven track record supporting sales teams via analytics, tactical projects and customer experience events. Supporting insourced and outsourced call centers using an international footprint.

  • 3+ years work related experience

  • Strong to expert-level analytical and data skills using SQL and/or Excel.

  • Experience with data programs such as SAS, Snowflake, and HANA is a plus.

  • Experience functioning as a part of cross functional and collaborative teams. 

  • Experience in working on high performance team with time sensitive output. 

  • Experience gained through college degree programs is applicable to the above mentioned skills.
