Summer Hospitality Internship (Summer 2023)

Are you looking to gain exposure to all departments in a hotel? Do you need hours to satisfy your educational requirements? Would you benefit from a paid, structured internship opportunity?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, look no further - High Hotels has a place for you this summer! Consider a dynamic opportunity that will provide experience from the ground up in all hotel departments, with a concentration in Housekeeping.

Located at the Hampton Inn & Suites on South Queen Street in York, PA.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the hotel industry, working primarily 8AM-5PM with exposure to the 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM and 6AM-12:30PM shifts.

This is a paid internship.

Our interns will have the opportunity to:


  • Start in a Housekeeping rotation (Weeks 1-4+ depending upon your individual progress).

  • Gain Supervisory experience by handling inspections and providing recommendations to management.

  • Obtain exposure to managing a department budget.

  • Learn project management skills.

  • Observe the Food & Beverage and Maintenance departments.

  • Shadow the General Manager, Front Office, and Sales Operations.
