JOB DESCRIPTION

The Buyer Expeditor is responsible for executing tactical buying, material management, and parameter optimizations within Resideo to ensure correct supply levels for operation. You are our main contact for our suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Resolving material related issues due to production-based problems, invoice issues, inventory errors, or demand changes.
• Liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as planning, engineering, operations, and quality, while maintaining the voice of the customer in the day-to-day process.
• Keeping Resideo's production lines moving by ensuring materials are delivered on time from our suppliers, escalating material requirements as needed, expediting material with suppliers as needed, and following up on past-due and unconfirmed PO's.
• Join a team that helps improve processes and drive delivery and inventory targets.
• Use your agility and ability to support production lines to solve escalations and achieve metric goals.

• High School Diploma

• Experience in manufacturing planning
• Experience in tactical buying
• Experience with MRP/ERP Systems, working knowledge of SAP a plus
• Ability to multi-task and use data to determine priorities
• Experience with in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing practices
• Ability to work independently and take direction from others
• Experience in MS Excel
