Job Summary:

Reporting to the Lenbrook Director, Human Resources (HRD), the HR BP, is a member of the team of 5+ human resource professionals.  The HR BP will deliver strategic human capital leadership and management to the portfolio of departments at Lenbrook and/or responsibility for Menders by Lenbrook, a for-profit home health care subsidiary. The HR BP will work HR Centers of Excellence, HR Shared Services and cross-functionally to design, develop and deploy people plans and initiatives for the HR BP’s customer groups that enable long-range business objectives.
 
 

Essential Functions of the Job: 


  • Facilitating and supporting the planning and development of the appropriate organizational alignment and structures and support systems to enhance Lenbrook’s ongoing growth opportunities and objectives.

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.

  • Executing an end-to-end integrated and aligned talent system to attract, engage and grow a highly talented diverse workforce.  

  • Identifying and advising on changing organizational needs affecting specific people, roles and/or processes; analyzing talent vulnerabilities and developing strategies to address them.

  • Collaborating on the development of a holistic and integrated Total Rewards vision, strategy, systems and practices and executing against the same. 

  • Partnering with operations leaders across all functions regarding risk mitigation and contingency planning.  

  • Developing practices and tools that foster effective communication, conflict resolution and a culture of engagement.

  • Partnering with business leaders to direct effective change initiatives to improve results engaging senior managers as change leaders, building awareness of the need for change, developing skills and knowledge to support progress, and helping associates move through transitions.

  • Leveraging expertise, data analytics and other tools to support organizational change efforts 

  • Deriving insights from HR analytics and reporting processes; providing input into system designs and enhancements; understanding, integrating, and providing counsel to the business on the various HR systems.

  • Ensuring HR systems are effectively utilized with minimal business disruption; providing feedback and continuous improvement for HR systems effectiveness.

  • Partnering with and/or supporting external legal counsel regarding employment law-related investigations 

  • Supporting the HRD for the HR budgeting and planning processes.

Education and Experience Required:


  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university.

  • SHRM certification preferred.

Related Experience:  


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with demonstrated experience and success related to the HR competencies listed above.

Special Training or Competence:


  • Developing successful people strategies; organizational design and restructure; total rewards execution, employee relations; project management; knowledge of relevant federal, state and local labor and employment laws and regulations.

Skills and Aptitude Required:


  • Able to quickly build trusted, successful relationships with staff at all levels.

  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Must be able to interact with residents and staff at all levels of the organization with tact and personable demeanor.

  • Role models compliance with all policies and procedures

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet demands of goal achievement, three operational shifts, etc. and can adjust other requirements.

  • Working knowledge of meeting scheduling, graphs/charts, market analysis, newsletter creation, report creation and other administrative functions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate level. 

  • Basic math skills

  • Goal oriented – completes all assigned annual goals

  • Successfully multi-tasks at a fast pace and maintains the integrity/accuracy of all Associate data.

Lenbrook Square Foundation, Inc requires all Associates to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Fully vaccinated is defined as having two (2) doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer Covid-19 vaccinations, or one (1) dose of the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccination, plus 14 days.
