CAD Designer I

This position prepares technical data used in the layout, construction, and operation of oil and gas field,
refineries, gas compressor stations, chemical plants, and process piping systems. Piping, Structural &
Electrical Designers generally have 0-3 years of continuous drafting and design experience in the industry.
Designers work closely with a supervisor to complete tasks.

Your Role:

• Generates 3D piping and equipment models under direct supervision.
• Drafts P&IDs from a set of redlines using company/client drafting guidelines.
• With minimal supervision generates project deliverables (isometrics, piping plans, plot plans, MTO's) and reviews prior to submitting for checking.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and post-secondary training is preferred.
• Experience in design, drafting and modeling.
• Oil and Gas experience including refineries and gas processing preferred.
• Proficient in current engineering design and drafting software packages.
• Operational knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs.
• AutoCAD 3D design, CADWorx a plus.

Per our company policy, this offer is also contingent on passing a background and drug and alcohol test before starting at our company.

Minimum Salary: $49,000. annually based on skills and experience.
