Job Summary:

The Epiq Mass Tort Team is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our fast paced team and develop technical and end user product documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and modify technical documents, including user specifications, manuals, and test plans to facilitate the software and product development.


• Interpret complex software/product features and functions and translate them into a concise, relevant, and readable format.


• Consult software and technology subject matter experts to review, modify, and revise complex documentation for all departments, employees, and audiences.


• Proofread and edit content created by team members and other writing staff.


• Integrate user-friendly content in illustrations, graphs, and infographics for enhanced user experience.


• Write, review, and organize online help content to facilitate end-users.


• Indulge in user research for feedback, revisions, and improvement in technical content.


• Researching and fact-check information to ensure consistency in new business responses and information surrounding the company


• Consolidate and edit responses from individual contributors to prepare final responses within Epiq brand standards – and with a focus on a consistent, singular voice


• Proofreading, performing quality assurance of written product to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency with external communication standards and to ensure material is error-free.


• Project manage responses and ensure all follow prospect/client instructions, deadlines, and all other protocols.


• Ability to multi-task various projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment


• Ability to interact with various levels of senior management and throughout the organization


• Helps define optimum and most efficient workflow process and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to maintain composure under pressure


• Editing and formatting proficiency


• Business to Business and experience with RFP responses a plus


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio


• Experience with Adobe InDesign desktop publishing software desired, but not mandatory.


• Experience with Adobe Photoshop software desired, but not mandatory.


• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Business or Communications Required
