Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is searching for a Plant Manager for our location in Fort Pierce, FL. The Plant Manager is responsible for forecasting and leading with results, increasing market revenue, streamlining/standardizing workflow and creating a collaborative team environment to increase productivity and develop a culture of respect and empowerment. Responsibilities for this role will also include identifying and driving continuous improvement efforts, optimizing inventory, increasing plant capacity, improving process planning capabilities, driving short- and long-term continuous improvement, delivery performance and mix flexibility with the goal of achieving manufacturing excellence as Best-in-Class.

What You'll Do:
Own and develop employee and plant safety culture to ensure OSHA and company policy compliance
Develop and accurately forecast financial budgets and activities to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiencies
Lead production, material procurement, production planning, distribution, cost accounting, EHS, and customer service teams
Direct and manage resources to implement tactical business plans and programs to see work through completion
Develop and communicate the vision for the plant and implement strategies and objectives effectively
Set clear and consistent expectations for performance, holding teams and individuals accountable while leveraging resources available both at the plant and division levels
Ensure the team has necessary resources, removing barriers where appropriate
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by developing the maintenance department and vendor/contractors to coordinate preventive maintenance requirements
Prioritize the necessary resources and create the tactical steps required to accomplish goals on time
Identify talent and develop a collaborative team of key contributors
Show ownership of all aspects of plant staffing and drive retention
Exhibit a strong work ethic and focus on lean manufacturing, safety, quality, cost, productivity and P&L management
Lead the team and company at being an active and contributing partner in their communities
Consistently and accurately achieve desired and promised results
What You'll Need:
Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience managing overall operations (Safety, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Logistics, Maintenance, Budget, etc.) in an industrial manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Experience in an industrial steel or concrete manufacturing plant preferred
Experience with moderate to complex project management involving materials and manufacturing processes in a concrete or steel fabrication environment
Experience in leading complex operations (start-up) with products on manufacturing lines and cells
Ability to apply quality control and manufacturing best practices for customer specification, code and regulatory and testing requirements
Considerable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices and able to communicate specific projects with sustainable results
Excellent technical skills to include Excel and other MS Office applications, ERP (Oracle, JobScope, SAP) systems, and other analytical application tools
