The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Market Expansion is responsible for evaluating and costing, expansion build opportunities. This position evaluates the proposed infrastructure environment, assessing the cost associated to build in a given environment as well as the timeline to successfully deploy new infrastructure and ongoing maintenance feasibility.
What you'll do:
Responsible for planning and supporting market expansion infrastructure buildouts
Analyzes engineer designs and estimates costs to ensure they are within budget
Evaluates, establishes and mentors positive relationships with utilities, government officials, outside contractors, architects, engineers, and other specialists to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Recommends changes to processes and procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects
Reviews pole and easement conditions, establishing cost estimates related to expansion activity and cost efficiency opportunities
Identifies key focus areas to ensure a successful project
Responsible for accessibility evaluations, including easement, colocation, leased facility evaluation and permitting consideration, to determine estimated costs and time to market
Reviews mileage and passing evaluations
Ensures inspection of completed project work to ensure it meets safety standards and other requirements
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent certification or experience
5+ years of experience working in an infrastructure engineering role
5+ years of successful management of utility permitting processes
Accurate attention to detail and personal accountability, as well as an ability to hold partners to a similar standard, is required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong time management, and problem-solving skills
Google suite knowledge, accounting software, general ledger, accounts receivable software, accounts payable software, Internet software, e-mail, order processing, inventory and database software.
