The Proposal Coordinator will partner with the Meter Specialist, Meter Services Manager, and Regional Meter Manager in preparing proposals for Municipalities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize multiple bidding platforms to search for bids.
Work closely with Meter Specialist/Meter Services Manager to determine which projects will require formal proposals.
Generate thorough proposals for multiple branches/territories that meet the requirements of the bid documents.
Discern discrepancies and recommend design changes to engineering specs, and request clarifications when needed.
Manage addendums and communicate with Sales Team and Managers
Track upcoming projects for addition to Bid Calendar/Frontlog
Works on a variety of projects within the Meter Group such as preparing RMA's, reprogramming meters, etc.
Develop a working relationship with key vendors
Contact current customers to update information.
KEY CAPABILITIES:
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe
Minimum QualifIcations:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 18 months of estimating experience
Excellent customer service skills with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Preferred QualifIcations:
Bachelor's degree in an industry-related field
Prior experience with technical writing and/or proposal creation
Prior experience with estimating with a contractor or engineer
