Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Key Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth of Materion's Electronic Materials and services for key accounts.



You will have the opportunity to:



  • Deliver profitable sales growth for the Microelectronics Packaging product line within a given customer base/region


  • Perform Key Account Management duties for the top accounts (in the given customer base), including regular on-site meetings, technical exchanges, business reviews, and comprehensive customer support for daily issues


  • Deliver and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports


  • Maintain detailed and timely account records in CRM system, including call reports and tracking of New Business Opportunities (NBOs)


  • Work effectively and proactively with cross functional groups (Product Line, R&D, Operations, Customer Service) to secure and successfully onboard new business opportunities, as well as maintain share and strong supply of key products to the given customer base


  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the Microelectronic Packaging Product line, selling the full portfolio of products


  • Work with the Regional Director and Leadership team to improve service to the end customer and drive profitable sales growth for the Microelectronics product line





Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Technical (e.g. Engineering) or Business


  • Minimum 5 years in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets


  • Experience in technical sales and Key Account Management strongly preferred within the Microelectronic Packaging industry

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
