Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology in the Biological Sciences Division is searching for a Research Assistant Professor. The primary activity will be academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointee will develop their own research as well as contribute to research projects in the area of brain-lesion mapping for cognitive and behavioral function. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in lesion-network mapping, structural and functional MRI connectivity analysis, large-dataset organization and processing, and assessment of cognition, memory, and functional outcomes. The Department has many opportunities for this research in cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. Publication record and ability to obtain extramural grants will be considered.
Applicants must 1) have a doctoral degree or equivalent in Biological or Biomedical Sciences or related disciplines, and 2) have completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment.
