Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Dermatology, is searching for a Research Assistant Professor who will contribute to a research project on stress response and epithelial carcinogenesis. The appointee's primary activity will be to conduct academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointee will complement these research areas and contribute to project conception and execution. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in any of these areas: DNA damage response, autophagy, epigenetics, epitranscriptomics, immunology, and/or factors/processes involved in the development of skin cancer.
Prior to the start of employment, applicants must have: 1) a doctoral degree or equivalent in biologically-related sciences, or related disciplines, and 2) completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment.
