Job Summary

Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Physical Distribution team within our Banking Group over the summer. As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Physical Distribution department. During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes. Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge.


Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $15.13 - $19.49



Job Responsibilities:



In this position, our intern will have the opportunity to lead small projects in support of various business initiatives. Activities could include management of databases (inputting and reporting), project plan documentation, and performing research on markets, competitors, or industry trends. This candidate will have the opportunity to regularly participate in meetings associate with the rebranding of the combined company's branch and ATM networks.



Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent Required
  
  


• Current student or recent graduate pursing a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, IT, or related area of study required
  
  


• Motivated to learn and improve operational processes
  
  


• Able to demonstrate solid writing and verbal communication skills
  
  


• Highly organized and have a strong attention to detail
  
  


• Adjusts positively to quickly-changing priorities and shifting goals in a fast-paced environment
