Job Summary

Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Enterprise Architecture team over the summer. As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Enterprise Architecture department. During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes. Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge.



Job Responsibilities:



Under general guidance:

• Research the latest technologies and conduct proof of concepts projects.


• Assist in creating project architecture diagrams and design documents.


• Assist in developing architecture patterns and solutions.

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent Required.


• Current college/university student or recent graduate pursing a major in IT, or related area of study required.


• Willing to learn, good analytic and problem solving skill.


• General understanding of a programming language (Java, Python, C++), database, and software architecture.


• Knowledge of Visio or other diagramming tool.


• Able to demonstrate solid writing and verbal communication skills.


• Highly organized and have a strong attention to detail.


• Adjusts positively to quickly-changing priorities and shifting goals in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to manage projects in an effective and productive manner
