Location: Columbia, Tennessee
Work performed in maintaining health sciences division records and files, answering questions concerning health sciences programs admission status, participation and graduation requirements.
This is an in-person position based at the Columbia campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
B) Maintain database for these records.
2. Maintain all Health Science faculty records relative to health records, licensure and certifications, and criminal background checks.
A) Notify faculty and dean when faculty are not in compliance with program/clinical affiliate requirements.
B) Maintain database for these records.
3. Screen admission applications and records for Health Science programs.
A) Create and maintain application database/notebooks.
B) Prepare non-eligible wait list and admissions letter
4. Answer phones and provide accurate information to all constituencies.
5. Maintain confidentiality of information.
6. Maintain office equipment and supplies.
7. Work with other departments, extended campuses and TBR institutions in support of division work.
8. Create and maintain current Clinical Affiliation Agreements.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Coordinate times, locations and information for meetings and/or events.
2. Assist with college-wide registration process and other college administrative functions as needed.
3. Provide support for college/division/program events and projects.
4. Other duties as assigned by the dean and Executive Vice President/Provost. .
Education, Training and Experience Required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND WORK CHARACTERISTICS:
1. Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
2. Extensive computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, specifically expertise with spreadsheets/Excel, and ability to navigate virtual resources.
3. Extensive organization and management skills.
4. Ability to balance workload with multiple tasks.
5. Able to work without direct supervision.
6. Ability to analyze, evaluate and take appropriate action.
7. Ability to relate to diverse faculty, staff, students and the public.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Normal work week of 37.5 hours - working hours may vary upon needs.
2. Sitting, typing or standing for extended periods of time may be required.
3. Visual and hand usage for personal computers.
4. Various activities, i.e., occasional light to medium weight lifting, walking and carrying items from one building to another.
5. Ability to work adjusted hours as needed.
TITLES SUPERVISED:
Hiring Salary Range: $29,090 - $34,900
