Physician Assistant Neurosurgery will work as a First Assist in the operating room for Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine cases.
Performs neurosurgery assessments and complete neurosurgery post-operative rounds on neurosurgery and orthopedic spine patients
Performs neurosurgery consults in the Emergency Room and Trauma Bay
Provides back-up coverage for Trauma activations when needed
Shifts: PRN 12 hour rotating shifts; some night and weekend coverage
Qualifications:
Successful completion of Physician Assistant program which is accredited by the American Medical Association
Minimum of 2 years Neurosurgery OR work experience
Active Maryland PA license from Maryland Board of Physicians and current certification by the NCCPA
Active ACLS and BLS certifications
Active CDS and DEA licenses
Active PECOS enrollment
