Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for a Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Human Factors Engineering. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
Teaching responsibilities may include working collaboratively with colleagues as well as teaching students, residents, fellows, and/or Advanced Practice Providers who rotate through the team.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing healthcare as an attending physician in the Section of Hospital Medicine in the Division of General Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Campus. The candidate will primarily attend on the Complex Care Team with an opportunity to flex to other areas of general pediatrics if appropriate. The selected candidate will be conducting Human Factors Engineering work within the clinical QI realm.
