The Associate Director of Data and Evaluation manages all core data functions related to the design and execution of strategic initiatives for the McNulty Leadership Program (MLP), the Lipman Family Prize, and the Center for Leadership and Change Management. This position works with the MLP leadership team to advance and support all educational programming and partnerships. This position takes responsibility for implementing best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis. This position coordinates data collection and evaluation for all programming in MLP and serves as the resident data expert who provides reporting, visualization, and consultation for colleagues across MLP.

Associate Director C - The Associate Director of Data and Evaluation manages all core data functions related to the design and execution of strategic initiatives for the McNulty Leadership Program (MLP), the Lipman Family Prize, and the Center for Leadership and Change Management. This position works with the MLP leadership team to advance and support all educational programming and partnerships. This position takes responsibility for implementing best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis. This position coordinates data collection and evaluation for all programming in MLP and serves as the resident data expert who provides reporting, visualization, and consultation for colleagues across MLP.




Qualifications: Master's Degree required, doctorate preferred, ideally in a related discipline, plus two to three years of experience in a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.



The Associate Director of Data and Evaluation brings data experience and expertise, strong communication skills (oral and written), a proven ability to foster collaboration across multiple core teams, and the ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Must have an interest in exploring how to use data to model human behavior, to improve individual and team performance, and to solve problems in leadership and management education. Must be a life-long learner, enhancing abilities and expertise.

Specific qualifications backing data experience and expertise include:



  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate information with attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Expertise in data management, documentation, and collaborative programming environments;

  • Experience with data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques;

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies;

  • Project management, facilitation, and presentation skills;

  • Experience with survey design and analysis;

  • Experience with statistical analysis or methods.



Qualifications that would enhance an applicant's candidacy include:



  • Experience working with unstructured data;

  • Research/evaluation design and implementation;

  • Deep knowledge of and experience using Qualtrics and other relevant survey tools;

  • Experience working with Qualtrics360 and CollegeNET;

  • Classical statistical background/training;

  • Experience with statistical packages, including R, Stata, SPSS, and/or SAS;

  • Familiarity with logic models;

  • Familiarity with database design and management (SQL Server/MySQL/etc.);

  • Familiarity with Python and Jupyter notebooks;

  • Expertise in data visualization including Power BI.
