Provide planning, analyzing, coordinating, supporting, and maintaining districtwide software applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administer software systems related to the main administrative information system, including Banner Workflow, fsaAtlas, Banner Document Management System and Banner Enterprise Job Scheduler, and Salesforce. Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
Install, configure, maintain, test, and upgrade application software and any required technologies in support of the applications. Create and maintain end user accounts and security.
Work in conjunction with technology services and functional area staff in fully utilizing the assigned administrative information systems.
Coordinate the testing and implementation of upgrades to the college's administrative information system and related products. Migrate products from test to production.
Ensure reliable backup and recovery of necessary data exists on the college's administrative systems.
Analyze problems with the college's administrative information systems. Work with application developers, database administrators, and systems administrators as necessary in determining the proper hardware and software specifications and diagnose system errors. Work with technology services staff in planning for hardware and software upgrades.
Develop and maintain procedures related to day-to-day administrative information systems administration, security, backup and recovery routines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of existing systems in Collin College
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
Knowledge of Oracle Client
Knowledge of Ellucian Banner Document System
Knowledge of Ellucian Workflor
Knowledge of Evisions MAPS, Argos, Intellecheck, Form Fusion
Knowledge of FreshService call logging system
Knowledge of Salesforce, or other customer relationship management (CRM) platform
Computer and applicable software skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to analyze and resolve computer system issues
Ability to administer software systems related to the main administrative information system
Ability to install, configure, maintain, test, and upgrade application software
Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a directly related field and five (5) years of related experience required.
Associate degree, or at least 60 semester hours with (7) years of related experience.
