Summary



The Digital Engagement Specialist I works with our customers to field, research, and answer questions and develop payment solutions for their accounts through various channels such as Email, SMS text and Chat. This new and exciting strategy at Resurgent Capital Services provides a method for Resurgent to engage with customers who are receiving marketing emails/SMS text from the E-Collect strategy as well as direct responses received from the RCS Website.



Responsibilities



  • Identify and execute on required actions as indicated by information received from customers while adhering to state and federal laws.

  • Negotiate solutions on delinquent accounts through written communication while ensuring company standards are met

  • Respond to customer inquiries within established timeframes

  • Ensure daily workplan is met and priorities are followed

  • Maintain established levels of productivity, efficiency, and quality to ensure company standards are met

  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of account data through proper documentation of account changes and consumer interactions

  • Assist supervisor and manager in developing and documented processes as they are developed and refined


Schedules: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, Monday- Friday 8am-7pm (with one day off during the week), as well as some Part Time Weekend Only shifts.



Qualifications/Skills:



  • 1-2 Years of related experience, preferably in a call center or collection environment

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, negotiations and conflict resolution

  • Ability to communicate effectively with strong writing skills, strong organization skills, time management and a high attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment

  • Relevant experience in the credit industry desired with a clear understanding of compliance requirements related to State, Federal and FDCPA guidelines

  • Excellent work ethic and unquestionable integrity
