Location: Kirksville, Missouri
A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking three non-exempt Undergraduate Physiology Research Assistants for the summer of 2023 (June-August) on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus. The successful applicants will work half-time in an undergraduate student research position and contribute to ongoing studies in the field of Alzheimer's disease research. Primary work will include the processing of animal tissue for western blotting and/or immunohistochemical analysis. Other duties entail microscopy, data analysis, and data dissemination in the form of posters and/or oral presentations at local/national conferences. Depending on the project, the work place will either be at ATSU-KCOM or at the collaborators laboratory located on the Truman State University campus. This position is a 3-month NIH-funded position.
