Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit (Meyer 7) has 18 beds for adult patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical diagnoses requiring care from Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy services based on need. A Neuro-psychologist is available as part of the care team to provide support to the patient, family, and staff. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in developing an inpatient and discharge care plan. Nurses help prepare and educate patients and families to ensure a safe transition to home or lower acuity facilities as necessary.









Shifts: 12 Hour Rotating Shifts




Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland is required
• 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience during the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)
  
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted

Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.
