Provides professional nursing care according to specified physician orders, and in conformance with established nursing techniques, procedures, standards and Hospital administrative nursing policies.


Transports and prepares patients for invasive and non invasive procedures, monitors patient heart rythym and blood pressure, administers moderate sedation per physician order pre, intra and post procedure. Performs sterile scrub and case circulation functions. Procedures include: Diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiac cath and electrophysiology studies, TEE, and stress testing. Nursing documentation in Meditech and GE Mac Lab systems. This position also manages nurse schedule. Functions as preceptor for new personnel. Functions on call for BHAT program.

Associates degree required; BSN preferred


2+ years experience in a critical care environment. Preferred Cath Lab experience
