The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Nelson 7 is a 23-bed medical floor, with capacity for 12 patients requiring telemetry. On this unit, you will provide care to complex medical patients, specializing in acute and chronic cardiac disorders (CHF, cardiomyopathy, acute MI, dysrhythmia, etc.). The unit has a family-like feel and are known to celebrate JHH diversity through their international potlucks. The staff are adept at encouraging one another and fostering positive relationships across all disciplines. This unit is equipped to care for intermediate care patients (i.e. ICU step down).
Shifts: Full Time 12 hour rotating shifts
Qualifications:
ADN or BSN. Must be from an accredited nursing program
Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire.
Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
